With the year rolling into its second month (just where did January go?!); we can’t help but feel a little red and pink and warm and fuzzy all over. Pull out those love sonnets and dust off the Michael Buble albums, it’s Valentine’s Day people!
This year, I’m feeling that a return to the basics is in order. What love translates to in the gourmet frame of mind: Chocolate. Decadent and creamy, melt- in- your- mouth chocolate of the richest and most sumptuous variety. Don’t let that mind wander off too far just yet, where is the champagne! The kind that resembles a bubbly version of liquid gold, crisp on the tongue and smooth down the throat. I’ll take both, please. Tied under a beautiful, big red bow and perhaps adorned with some luxurious, silken slippers… Oh…yes, I suppose I’ll take the hunky man as well.
